The Pregnancy me
I wouldnt say it is difficult adjusting to pregnancy but I would say it is interesting. So I have come to the concusion when you are pregnant you have to meet the new you.
"New You?" , yes new you.
pregnancy has made me realise things you have loved most of your life no longer interest you. Yummy food you use to love , the new you cannot stand the sight or look of it.
Spending endless time with friends has changed into cuddling up watching movies.
Its different being pregnant its a whole new you. I personally have become more needy and have the tendency to get very emotional over the smallest things. (TARZAN I cried four times and then laughed at the end). My partner works away 4-5 days a week and I become quite restless and exhausted keeping myself busy with house work.
I have understood the mummy instinct is coming out in me already.
The nutrition and well being is very important while baby grows in the first trimester, crucial time to put effort into growing strong bones, muscles and organs.
I am taking iodine tablets, folic acid tablets and fish oil tablets all very important for a growing fetus.
My conversation topics have changed from parties, clubbing, gossip to baby shopping , articles and maternity books to how to's and to do's so I can prepare myself to become a awesome parent. Internet research is very helpful jotting down info and notes such as what to buy.
My friends, family and I guess people surrounding me are realising im no longer the carefree, fun teenager anymore I have become all about my unborn baby. I have just finished high school/college so my friends are adjusting to seeing less of me so talking on the phone had definately increased.
A big change was my body, for the last 4 years I have been a size 6 it may not be a big notice but I am loving the weight gain as I have quickly jumped to a size 10. Although my breasts have increased extremely quickly finding myself buying bigger comfortable bras to suit my ever so often changing body.
Getting use to pee 20 times a day I did not understand, Soo abit of googling helped me understand that a fetus only eats liquid. Your food once digested in your stomach, The nutrients are then extracted and passed through to baby. The reason why I pee so much is because what I eat is turned into liquid.
All these changes are positive as everyday I do something to benefit my unborn baby.
Im already obsessed and cannot wait to enjoy my pregnancy more and more each day
